Pours a muddy, dark copper, with a decent sized off white head. Nose is malty with strong wheat noes. Flavor is similarly malty, but a little thin. Not bad, but it could use some depth.

a nice ball game ale. not much to say clasic use of the maris otter. i like that the hopping on this beer is not the typical funky garden brooklyn flavor.

Bottle. Thanks to TheWolf. BB 07/07. Pours unclear amber with a off white head. Aroma is of caramel & hops. Thin mouthfeel. Earthy & slightly sour taste. Over the top...!

This beer pours a deep amber color and has a quickly dissipating off-white head. It has a strong sweet malt aroma and finshes with an astringent bitter aftertaste. There is enough sweet malt to carry this beer, but there are no real surprises here. Mellow beer.

One of Brooklyn’s better beers. Well-balanced with malt and hop flavors getting equal billing. They didn’t overdo anything here.

glass into bottle. pours copper red with no real head to speak of. aroma is of pears and figs. tastes of overripe banana, grassy, yeasty. washes over palate quickly with just a hint of hoppy finish. ive never been a big fan of Brooklyn Brewery beers. either too hoppy or too bland. this is an exception. good stuff!

Copper to amber pour with medium beige head. Aroma is mild fruit, caramel malt, with a touch of roastiness. Roasty malts and citrusy hops clash on the tongue. Tart followed by roastiness isnt working for me. Thinnish body with mild carbonation. Again as it warms I get that bubblegum ester ythat I get from a lot of their beers. Finish is dry with a lingering somewhat herbal hop presence. This is sort of all over the place and could really benifit from some refinement.

I had this on tap - It poured like a pale ale with a small white head. It had a nice palate but really did not have much of a flavor to it... I could hardly taste the hops - just an average OK beer. Nothing special
