As Pennant Ale ’55. Clear copper, creamy off-white head. Sweet buttery caramel and hop aroma. Flavor has watery Kool-aid hops with some papery citrus notes. Not that good.

very average. I am not too impressed by brooklyn so far. I gotta try that choco stout though.

My first Brooklyn. Clear red body, no real head. Very hoppy scent with faint malt. Hoppy bitter flavour.

Nice clean pour, malty with a nice smooth finish - nicely hopped. Depending on the batch, can have a bit of a sour aftertaste

This ale is an amber color with a sweet, hoppy aroma. It has a creamy, bitter yet slightly sweet flavor with a hint of fresh oregano.

Poured a muddy red-orange with almost no head, interesting from the bottle. Very slight earthy aroma. Bit on the watery side. Light grassy hoppiness with a sweet, citric bite, but really not much no it, unfortunately.

Draft at the Saloon, Washington, D.C. Poured amber, with a nice, off-white head. Malty nose and flavor with a nice hoppy finish. A nice tasting, refreshing ale.
