Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Oct 19, 2005 35.5 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Amber colour with a weak head. Lovely aroma of flower and citrus. Big mouthfeel. A great blend of hops flavour. A very easy drinking beer, the smooth hoppy finish become great in you mouth. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Oct 17, 2005 Bottle. Pours a nice copper colour. Head is white and disappears quickly. Malty in the aroma, some fruits in the aroma aswell. You have the malt in the taste too and caramel. The hops are there in the background. Has a smooth hoppy aftertaste. HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Oct 16, 2005 Bottle (12oz). Poured hazy amber-orange (like iced tea) - with a very large tightly fizzy-foamy beige lasting head. Aroma was fresh pungent hops, some sweet citrusy malt, some thin sourish red wine and a bit of resin; pleasing on the whole, but where’s the malt? Taste is strangely of unsweetened lemony ice tea, with very faint hops in the weakly bitter finish. Mouthfeel a bit acidic, almost soapy, and flat. A oddball brew, but as it warms up it really does represent many mild UK pales - don’t serve it cold! dberger624 (1028), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 15, 2005 Bottled Beer of the Month. Average beer. Sight bitter hop taste but that’s really it. Looked like a pale. Gachupines (290), USA Oct 5, 2005 Thin bodied and smooth with some bitterness in the aftertaste. I prefer the increased presence of hops in the average APA to this, but this is a good representation of the English version and would make a good session ale. TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Oct 3, 2005 Pours light orangish amber with a fully receding white head. Aroma of caramel, nuttiness, and slight note of flowery hops. Tastes of cereal, toffee, vague maltiness. Thin bodied with medium carbonation. jon112981 (327), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA Oct 3, 2005 Bottle. A nice light brown pour with a bit of bubbly head. Very mild aroma but an outstanding taste. Not much in the way of a finish but still an all around good ale. DougShoemaker (2855), Toronto, Canada Sep 28, 2005 On tap.
Aroma is very hoppy(west coast) some malt undertones. Amber, small custard head. Soft malt flavour, the hops are subdued, compared to the nose. Light bodied, balanced. Good.
