As Pennant Ale ’55. Clear copper, creamy off-white head. Sweet buttery caramel and hop aroma. Flavor has watery Kool-aid hops with some papery citrus notes. Not that good.

My first Brooklyn. Clear red body, no real head. Very hoppy scent with faint malt. Hoppy bitter flavour.

Nice clean pour, malty with a nice smooth finish - nicely hopped. Depending on the batch, can have a bit of a sour aftertaste

Poured a muddy red-orange with almost no head, interesting from the bottle. Very slight earthy aroma. Bit on the watery side. Light grassy hoppiness with a sweet, citric bite, but really not much no it, unfortunately.

Draft at the Saloon, Washington, D.C. Poured amber, with a nice, off-white head. Malty nose and flavor with a nice hoppy finish. A nice tasting, refreshing ale.
