Finishes sweet and a bit cloying. Not bad but leans toward being kind of syrupy. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 12, 2005 Bottle. Pours golden amber with off-white head. I got a lot of English yeast, too much yeast imo, in the flavor and aroma, and this obscured some of the other aromas and flavors. Asside from super yeasty, I found it a bit earthy, and while drinkable, I wouldn’t go out of my way for any in the future (unless they do a different recipe). Habanero (643), Tranbjerg, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Bottle: Pennant Ale ’55. Little beige, short lasting and totally diminishing head. Pale amber colour. Floral and hoppy aroma with caramel and some roasted malt. Flavour of malt with notes of oranges. Mild sweetness. Light to medium bodied. Little bitter finish. OK - but not unique. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours a honey amber body with a slightly larger than 1 finger, soapy looking dirty white head. On the nose we have floral hops, citrus rinds and dishwater. Also get some sweet grains. Tastes of citrus, floral hops, dough and grains. Heavily astringent on the tongue. Medium to light bodied, oily palate. Finish is slighty bitter, spicy and of medium length. Unremarkable but unoffensive. Jmichael (633), Asheville, North Carolina, USA
