2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lb4lb (2021) - Austin, USA - AUG 29, 2009
Pours mostly clear and amber with short lived whitish head. Smell is slightly yeasty and malty mostly. Taste is fairly balanced between biscuity malt, grassy hops and slighty bready yeast. I prefer a little cleaner, less yeasty beer, but not bad, and certainly drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BroSpud (1124) - , Massachusetts, USA - FEB 2, 2012
12oz bottle labeled as "Pennant 55" Ale. Medium amber pour with very little head and low carbonation. The hops are pretty much overpowered by the malt flavors with this one but it is drinkable if not very memorable.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 mcmisko (125) - - FEB 1, 2012
Pours amber with a two finger head. Some lacing. Low carbonation. Smells like caramel, malts, and a hint of floral hops. Taste like sweet malts, with citrus and caramel notes. Not much of a hop presence in the taste. Texture is thin and watery, and taste is flat. I am not too crazy about this, but it is more interesting than a pale lager and goes down easy.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bkurtz (461) - PERU - JAN 30, 2012
Poured a hazy copper with a smallish head. Sweet malts with a smooth finish. A nice "everyday" day.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber. Medium off white head that quickly dissipates to a light filmy finish. Mild bready aroma. Flavor is also bready with some caramel and lots of malt. Dry finish. Bought as a single. Turned out to be different then I thought based on the name, but it was a pleasant suprise. This one was probabaly a bit past its prime, but still ok. I would drink it again.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 12 oz bottle. I was expecting more from this one. It is better then nearly all the mass produced stuff out there but thats about it.
