Brooklyn American Ale is brewed exclusively for Finland. It has more crystal malt than Summer Ale and is more heavily dry-hopped. The dry-hopping in Summer Ale is all Amarillo, while Brooklyn American Ale has a blend of Amarillo and Cascade.

It’s winter at the moment but drinking American ale in winter is not good idea it seems very plae almost tasteless. If I would try it in summer to refresh myself or after sauna would be my favorite. Not this time. Long lasting foam was great, but thats it. Was hoping to feel some of thos citra and amarillo, but very far far away.

BB 04.2014, 330ml bottle. Aroma: stong aroma of American hops, fruity, hints of grapefruit and sweetness. Pours golden with nice white head. Most of the head dissapears after some moments, faint head stays for a while. Taste: hoppy, sweet, some citrus. Lively carbonation. Overall: the carbonation is a little bit too much, but otherwise decent APA.

djoeye (1206) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 30, 2013
355 ml bottle abv 4.5, bought at K Kilpishalli Finland. Amber clear body. Very low white layer. Then just invisible filmy layer. Scents of hops, some perfume, maybe hints of elderberry. Tastes a bit grassy, very mild, some spices, maybe some ginger. Mouthfeel somewhat watery. Final has not very much to give, just a dry low bitter short twist. Overall a little to easy made, I assume.
