Brooklyn American Ale is brewed exclusively for Finland. It has more crystal malt than Summer Ale and is more heavily dry-hopped. The dry-hopping in Summer Ale is all Amarillo, while Brooklyn American Ale has a blend of Amarillo and Cascade.

355ml bottle from supermarket. Pours clear golden with diminishing tanned head. Average carbonation. Aroma is fruity, has citrus, little bit of pine. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter. Abrupt ending. Honestly the aroma is leaves much to be desired for me personally, still ok beer.

Pours a clear golden body with a small, off-white and short-lived head. Unfresh and moderate aroma of slightly rotten generic fruits, hints of tropical fruits, caramel and compost. The flavour is better, at least it’s not that rotten, but it’s far from as fresh and hoppy as an APA should be. I get moderate notes of generic fruits, with orange, caramel and black tea in the back. Light sweet and light bitter taste. Light-bodied, fairly dry and with a moderate carbonation. Not exactly bad, but not something I’ll ever buy again.
[35.5 cl bottle, enjoyed 7 months before BB date, from Meny Kringsjå, Oslo]

malty aroma, pale gold with lots of bubbles, bland almost watery aroma, lazy beer at its worst.

Very dull. All in all, a very forgettable offering with nothing noteworthy.

0,33 l Flaske. Lys brun klar med hvitt skum. Tam øl, ikke noe som skiller seg ut, kan være feil med den. litt besk i ettersmaken

Sigmund (6117) - Tau, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2015
355 ml bottle, from REMA 1000, Tau. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, moderate to low white head. Very nice aroma of fruity hops, notes of tropical fruits and citrus. Thin mouthfeel, as expected. Moderate but nice fruity hops in the medium dry flavour too. A decent refreshment, no more, no less. Sometimes that is just good enough.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2015 Purchased from Hippo Beer, West End. 355ml. Fruity aroma and taste. Rich gold colour. However it delivers a plain and water-like, very thin palate. Relatively high overall score because of the epic Brooklyn Brewery. 4.5%abv

Bottle at Piccadilly, Bodø. Pours a clear orange color with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma of apricot, popcorn and leather. Quite careful. The flavor is also light with some leather, dried fruit and fruity hops. Slick mouth feel, light body and has a light bitterness. An easy drinking, light and okay ale.
