Brooklyn American Ale has more crystal malt than Summer Ale and is more heavily dry-hopped. The dry-hopping in Summer Ale is all Amarillo, while Brooklyn American Ale has a blend of Amarillo and Cascade.

It’s winter at the moment but drinking American ale in winter is not good idea it seems very plae almost tasteless. If I would try it in summer to refresh myself or after sauna would be my favorite. Not this time. Long lasting foam was great, but thats it. Was hoping to feel some of thos citra and amarillo, but very far far away.

Floral hops, pale grain malts, light caramel. Clear gold, medium, frothy, white head. Light bitter. More floral hops, grain malts, lively carbonation, medium bodied, bitter finish. Boring APA, look somewhere else. Can from Sainsbury’s, Chiswick.

Spicy and floral hop aromas remind me of a pilsner but with a light caramel malt profile. A bit too watery, especially for an APA. OK but I would not go out of my way to have another.

0,33l bottle. Pours clear gold. Aroma is a bit funky with hints of fruit and neighbourhood trash. Flavour has more fruit, orange, caramel and tea. Light body and a bit watery. Not one of the better American ales I’ve had.

Can. Pours a golden body with a small white top. Aroma is fairly mellow. Some light fruity notes along with pale malts and a hint of grass. Taste is balanced with a light sweetness leading into a very gentle bitterness. Some floral notes from the hops, but all in all nothing much going on here. Light body avg co2

Can at home. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma is malty vanilla with some florals. Taste has mild malts and hops. Hints of tea, citrus and caramel. Quite watery and the taste feels a bit artificial. Not bad but not that good.

Can from Sainsbury’s. Nice balance of crisp hops and a little sweet malt, a hint of citrus. Refreshing and enjoyable session ale.

Can. Pours a darker brown color then the summer ale. Definitely more flavor and hoppier. A good session ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Raynville store , Leeds. Pours Amber and not much head. Hoppy on the nose, tastes of hop and malt. Not much of a finish, nice enough though.

Can. Rich hearty gold, pristinely clear. Sloppy nice lacing. Nose of pale malt, floral, bit of lemon. Full-flavored dry malt with quite present floral cascade notes and a delicate citrus. It’s not much, but it tastes like a well-flavored macro, way less sweet and artificial. The more I drink this, the more I can agree with it. I can get down with this. F*ck the haters.
