egajdzis (3138), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 10, 2008 Poured a cloudy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toffee, light citrus fruit, and toasted malts. Taste of yeast, dough, caramel, light toffee, a bit of pine, and also some citrus in the finish. A bit dry. zach8270 (1526), Henrietta, New York, USA Mar 24, 2006 (cask @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Copper color with a thick and fluffy white head. Aroma is light and malty with a touch of hops and sweetness. Flavor is also very light with a nice malt base and a smooth and light hoppy finish at the end. Could use some more hops, but definitely a good session beer. GTown (126), New York, USA Jun 2, 2006 Cask at Monty’s Krown. Poured amber with thin head. Good lacing. Hops are well-balanced. Thin bodied. Hops are minimal, as is aroma. Not the best bitter, but typical of the breed. MiP (6723), Flensburg, Germany Jun 6, 2006 Cask. Very malty, dusty aroma. Almost clear brownish colour. Small, creamy white head. The flavour is very malty, reminding me of a mix between brown ale and bitter. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA Aug 20, 2005 A very light-bodied, low alcohol beer, on Cask at Blind Tiger. Slightly sweet, and very light. The hops are well-blended but overall this is not very bitter at all. Summery, and goes down nearly like water. Heather and vinous notes - more malty that I would expect for a bitter.
