Poured a cloudy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toffee, light citrus fruit, and toasted malts. Taste of yeast, dough, caramel, light toffee, a bit of pine, and also some citrus in the finish. A bit dry.

Cask at Swift Hibernian Lounge. Mild orange/copper pour. Dry, meaty aroma, light coal. Light fizzy body. Nice cookie flavor. Very authentic tasting; would fit right in in England. Except all the English guys hated it, so maybe I have no idea what I’m talking about.

Thanks to puzzl for pointing this one out. Aroma is pretty good. Light and clean with some green hops and almost like a pilsner malt and dough. Flavor is nice and clean, crisp light green hops with bread and simple malts for balance.

Pouring at Get Real NY. Pours a clear orange golden amber with a thin white head. Sweet caramel, toast. Malty and sweet toast. Easy drinking, sweet and light. Nice sessionable beer.

Cask at Get Real NY - Your basic bitter. Light sweet caramels, dry piny hops with a bitter finish. Quaffable and solid.

(cask @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Copper color with a thick and fluffy white head. Aroma is light and malty with a touch of hops and sweetness. Flavor is also very light with a nice malt base and a smooth and light hoppy finish at the end. Could use some more hops, but definitely a good session beer.

Sampled on cask at Churchkey, Washington D.C. Pours a slightly hazy, translucent orange with a frothy, lacing white head. Dry, bready, crackery aroma. Flavor is dry, crackers, biscuits, bread, lemons, orange rind. Finish has a lingering bitterness, dry. Sessionable. Nice.

On Cask at the brewery.

Pours an orange color with a small head and some lace.

The aroma is of wet malt and some nondescript fruit. A little butter is slightly off-putting but I kind of like the almost briny character that’s going on.

The flavor is mildly bitter and hoppy with some light marmalade and toasty malt. Some fruit character, specifically red apple is bright and pleasant.

As expected the beer has a very low carbonation, which isn’t bad but this does carry the beer as a little watery on the palate.

Cask at Monty’s Krown. Poured amber with thin head. Good lacing. Hops are well-balanced. Thin bodied. Hops are minimal, as is aroma. Not the best bitter, but typical of the breed.

Cask. Lightly hazed amber body with soft off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon, bread, some orange. Taste is medium sweet, lemon, bread, some orange, light spicy. Soft light body, very easy drinking. Would make a nice session beer.
