We brew our beer in New York, about halfway between the hop fields of the Pacific Northwest and the hop fields of Kent, England. So we use earthy English hops to build the foundation and bright citrusy American hops to bring the noise in the rambunctious IPA we call BLAST! British Maris Otter and German Pilsner malts lends solidity, balance and bready flavors to brace up a beer that’s beautifully hoppy, strangely quaffable and oddly compelling. Minerally hop bitterness is followed by a shock wave of flavor and aroma. You won’t even know what hit you.

Malts: Scottish Floor-malted Maris Otter, German Pilsner Malt

Hops: Willamette, Magnum, Cascade, Fuggle, Aurora, Zythos, Bravo, Simcoe, Sorachi Ace, Amarillo, Experiment 6300

Alaranjado escuro, espuma branca de média formação e persistência. Aroma caramelado, levemente amadeirado, açúcar queimado, fermento. Paladar segue em sua maioria o aroma, mas trás amargor leve do lúpulo, também um resinal queimado inesperado. Corpo médio e baixa carbonatação. Aftertaste resinal leve, amargor adocicado. Um pouco abaixo do esperado.

From NOTES. A: pine and citrus hops, mild caramel malt, and toasted grains. A: pours a hazy orange golden color, with bright white head. good retention and lacing. T: soft, sweet malt beginning that quickly gives way to a ...Blast!...of citrus fruit! P: medium bodied, medium carbonation, sweetness from the citrus upfront, bitterness in the back but it is balanced, sticky Overall - solid DIPA, Worth a try!!!

Orange with nearly no head. Alcoholic, sweet malts, bitter pine. Fruits nearly absent, weird hops. Medicinal. Just confirming I hate dipas...

Pours a slightly hazy darker golden amber color with off-white head. Pine, herbal notes, floral notes, and light fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with a nice stickiness for a DIPA.

Too much alcohol! Hop profile was strongly pine and herbal, rather than fruity. Too many hop varieties might just muddy the flavor profile!

Mycket gott!

Small yellowish head over hazy orange beer with very small bubbling. Fruity/veggie nose, with celery, very light citrus, faintly catty. Not very tremendous, in fact. Arachide, fatty acids, tannine-like hopoils. Retronasal some citrus, grapefruitpeel, finishing with a touch of walnutbread. Feels more spritzy than it looks; not very well-bodied; slight astringency. Garrett, don’t tell me you never heard about the virtues of simplicity.
