Fairly clear orange with a bout a finger of off white head, big bubbles. Aromas of sweet orange, pine, some dankness, some earthiness. The flavor profile matches the nose well, little to no alcohol noticeable. A very nice beer from Brooklyn, one of their better ones in my opinion.

So this beer is super interesting. Mellow beer to drink, so easy to have, but has a very "beer" taste at the end / aftertaste on the palate. Totally recommended to try and one I would even buy a six pack of. Almost drinks like an ale or strong beer, so definitely fall/winter is when to enjoy.

Draft pour into a pint glass. Pours a clear copper with a white head of foam. Aroma has notes of pine, herbs, and some citrus qualities. Taste is herbal bitterness throughout with a medium sweet finish. Medium bodied. Pretty did DIPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Heavy grapefruit aroma, resinous with bready undertones. Hazy orange appearance. Medium bitterness, ísoftí I would say, with a long sweet finish. Smooth and drinkable. Seems like the English version of a double India, or at least correlates to the style relative to traditional English IPAs against American ones.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Hay, leaves, soap, grass, musty.
Beautiful orange color, excellent lace.
Taste is caramel, earthy malt, rye malts. Chunky feel, but slick and smooth. Not as good as my first time, but what ever is?

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler filled at Shoreline Beverage and consumed the next day. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thin-moderate linen white head that was gone before the second sip and left scant lace. Very pleasant aroma of tangerine, grapefruit and pine. Very fruity and lovely. The flavor is malt wth a nice crispness to it and a touch of breadiness. That is followed by a wash of moderately bitter fruity hops with tangerine most notable. Despite the hops, this beer is not harsh on the palate. The alcohol is well hidden. This beer is way too easy to drink! Good stuff.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at Dada, Sheffield. 21.01.13. Yellow. White head. All grainy sweetness. Sweet, chewy palate. No hop bitterness. No anything bitterness, in fact. Bland and uninteresting. The poorest Brooklyn beer Iíve had, by a mile.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg at the Well & Bucket, Sat18th January 2014 me & Loz were in the company of Jackie & Simon Hazy amber in colour. The strength is apparent from the off, there us sweetness but then a late burst of hops kick in. This is fine but the sweetness gives this a rather plodding heavy feel. Not my favourite of the day and at £4 a half nowhere near as good value as the Magic Rock Punchline which was £2.50 a half as I recall.. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.3

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce bottle, best before June 2014. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a clear golden/orange color with about a half inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells mostly like citrusy (tropical fruit, grapefruit) and floral/earthy hops, along with some bready malt. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of some lemon peel, candided oranges, and some peppery spice. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís slick and creamy, and is well carbonated. I thought this was a good brew, nice mix of using both American and English hops. Iíd buy this again, definitely worth trying. $2.59 for a single at World Market.
