Notes from bar last nite: Draft, golden color, fresh aroma of hops with a good balance of malt. Med bodied, bitter finish. Liked this one.

Clear orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and rather hoppy - flowers and grass. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. Good balance. Poured by Garrett Oliver at the Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. 070510

Tap @ Avenue Pub: Pours a nice golden orange with a big white head. The nose is snappy with a big citrus and pine hop note, seems like simcoe or amarillo but a little fresher. Grassy malty flavor and a sticky finish. Great big ipa.

Somewhat hazy amber/gold in appearance with a very small pale yellow head. Aroma is very sweet with notes of oranges, bananas, grapes, and a nice hoppy floral background. Flavor is fairly close to the aroma but with a more some more earthy sweetness thrown in. Grapefruit in the finish, medium bodied.

I had on draft into a tulip at Local Option...Gold appearance and light white head...The aroma is blast of floral citrus, but the majority is the floral, almost too much, I need a break from the perfume...The taste is more of the same to me a floral citrus blend that I just do not care for, too strong. Unless you love floral hops, its not for you.

Nose is mostly of citrus hops. Taste is more complex than the nose featuring some pine, grapefruit, and honey. Very smooth considering the style as well.

On tap at Brooklyn Brewery. If only they bottled this. Poured what appeared to be a bit of a hazy deep gold (again, plastic glass). Glassware had no effect on the great aroma of sweet citrus and grass. Tastes like if I sprinkly sugar on a grapefruit and wait for it to dissolve before eating, mmmmm. Could’ve sat there all day for more.
