3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught goblet (12 oz?) at American Flatbread in Burlington, VT (May 2008). Bright, oily translucent gold with a lasting bit of bright white foam and nice lacing....fresh, sweet aroma: honey, resinous hops, very inviting with no alcoholic harshness...body is sweet, juicy, lightly syrupy, with floral and faintly bitter notes...dry, clean, slightly mineralic-salty finish, verging on crisp with the syrupy thickness almost entirely washed away....nicely done, one of the best beers I’ve had from Brooklyn.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
The nose is intense hooy-fruity, the beer itself starts smooth with nice floral hop aroma. The body is slightly sweet, but not too much. The floral hops have hints of citrus and pine, but are smoother and not as "blast-off", as expected. The aftertaste is fresh, floral-grassy, slightly sweet and very smooth. The bitterness is well-balanced.
A nice brew, but nothing that special. --> 11/12/11/11

Draft from freshly tapped keg. I had the first non-foamy pint from the
Not much of a nose, but mostly due to my having a sinus issue at the
time. Gave this a mid-range value since I was unable to tell.
Color a clear light amber.
Head was as previously described by others - once the newly tapped
keg stopped acting up, there was about a finger of slightly off-white head,
which dropped off to a few mm after about 4-5 minutes.
Pretty direct taste of citrus, pine, resinous, very very intense. No fooling
Mouth feel was sharp, shocking sharp, but in a good way.
NOT something you can quaff - the flavor and mouthfeel was too
intense for that. I had to sip it very slowly. Savor the intensity.
Shazam! would also have been a good name for it!

On Tap at The Vega Lounge in Pompano Beach FL. Is an Orange-amber color with a big off-white head and decent lacing. Aroma of resin, pine oil, caramel, and citrus. Taste is pretty mildly bitter and quite malty. It’s pretty well balanced. Palate is very smooth for an IPA of which I am no fan of the style. But this is not bad at all.

En närmast perfekt balanserad Dipa. Saknar dock andra tyngre nyanser . En bra lätt sommar Dipa. Dock för 9% borde man fått mer karaktär..

Pours a golden orange with off white head. Pineapple and orange nose, caramel too. Slightly dank, stone fruits, rounded orange hop finish. Pretty good, but slightly off kilter.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from 12oz bottle. Clean orange in glass. Thin white head. Reserved lemon pith and floral hops on the nose. Moderately carbonated and dry. Peach and pomelo fruit notes, with some brown sugar sweetness. Good effort and a great DIPA considering the normal bodega selections.

Poured from a bottle...pours a clear light copper. Pine, citrus & malt on the nose, much of the same down the hatch. Nice bitterness, not too overpowering, well balanced

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear golden orange with average head and lacing. Aromas of citrus, coriander, orange peel. Remarkably tame for a double IPA, well balanced with generous hops and notes of tangerines and grapefruit. Great beer.

On draft at Bocktown Robinson. Poured hazy orange with just a skim of head present. Flavor starts sweet with grass and light citrus then turns a fairly sharp bitter with a dry finish.

Bottle @ home, via trade. Pours a slightly dark orange appearance with a lasting cream colored head. Slightly metallic and a bit of bubblegum in the nose. Pretty juicy, herbal hoppy nose. Slightly doughy, chewy malty flavor. A bit juicy. Pils grainy / herbal. This bottle seems a bit dated, but the beer seems not too shabby.
