shigadeyo (1507), Southwest Ohio Area, Ohio, USA Nov 21, 2008
Unknown Date: Brooklyn Bright Golding Ale is transparent gold n tolor with a dense, creamy, white head that leaves thick lacing. There is a light to moderate level of carbonation. The aroma is what I can only describe as creamy pale malts and there it has a slight buttery/Diacetyl flavor. However, this beer is balanced by a crisp bitterness in the finish. It is slightly dry overall with a hint of peat smoke in the finish as well. This is a decent beer that I would like to try again someday...

Draught (pint). Rating #29 for this beer.
Dickinsonbeer (2593), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Jul 2, 2008 Tap at Hop Devil. Pours a slight chilll haze, medium gold with a whtie head and some lace. Aroma actually has a moderate amount of Diacetyl with its bready doughy malt character, and some herbal earthy hops. Bready doughy, some citric wheaty hints, toasted malts, more diacetyl- light butteryness, and a clean floral hop bitterness. Wierd- seems like it coud be an English pale ale, but the body is a bit big, and is a bit more malt in there- typical english diacetyl which I would have preferred if it was absent, but whatever- it’s english. BleacherBum (159), Blowing Rock, North Carolina, USA Mar 25, 2008 On tap where I work. Crystal clear gold pour. Aroma of hops, tropical fruit and grains. More of the same on palate with a smooth, buttery flavor that actually works well here with the wheaty kind of flavor. Hoppy and balanced. Alcohol undetectable. Dry finish that cleans up well. An interesting ale. jeremytoni (656), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Feb 10, 2008 From the tap poured golden with a good amount of head. Kind of heavy hoppy flavor with a lingering aftertaste. zach8270 (1526), Henrietta, New York, USA Jan 31, 2008 (draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Hazy golden color with a puffy head. Aroma is floral and balanced with a touch of butter and some light fruity notes. Flavor is well balanced. Begins with some floral and ester notes and a light and fruity middle with a sweet and buttery finish. Not a bad sipping beer.
