Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Brown Ale, made exclusively with American ingredients, won Bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the Strong Ale Category in 1991 and in the American Brown Ale Category in 1992. Brooklyn Brown uses pale, crystal, chocolate, and black malts to attain a complex creamy texture. It is more heavily hopped than its British forbears.

Hell yeah.Props out once again to Garrett Oliver and his crew @ Brooklyn. I would like regular acess to this ..I’d have sixers all over the fridge. The dark ale vibez..yo get chocolate and caramel ,then floral US hops are aromatic. Soulful yo.

Pours an off-white, almost beige head with legs and a copper ruby body. Smells of brown sugar, some toast, and a hint of sourness. Flavor is the same. Good balance with a slightly dry finish.

The aroma shows crystal and chocolate malt and earthy hops. It pours a light brown with light fine carbonation and a slight hop lace. The flavor is a nice blend of malts and dry earthy hops with slight acid and a clean, short finish. Overall a drier, hoppier version of the British style.

Pours gloden with a tan head of medium size. Fruity aroma and has a very smooth taste. No bitterness and doesn’t leave an aftertaste.
