May 12, 2009 Updated: May 13, 2009The aroma shows crystal and chocolate malt and earthy hops. It pours a light brown with light fine carbonation and a slight hop lace. The flavor is a nice blend of malts and dry earthy hops with slight acid and a clean, short finish. Overall a drier, hoppier version of the British style.

May 2, 2009 Pretty mahogany color. Coffee and roasted aroma. Taste is toasty and chocolaty. Some bittering malts are present on the finish. Surprisingly a good brown ale, nice and balanced.

Apr 28, 2009 On tap at mellow mushroom with curly. Clear dark brown with near white head. Weak toffee aroma. Flavor is nutty, toffee, and toasty. Slight alcohol burn on nose and tail end. Good session beer though.
