Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Mar 5, 2009 Fantastic amount of flavor in suck a well-priced brown ale. Not fancy, this guy focuses on dark malts. Some hints of flavors are in there but are most likely the result of the malt used, not extra ingredients. This is a great example of what brown should be, very well balanced. thejon375 (390), Tampa, Florida, USA Mar 4, 2009 Great brown ale. Crisp clean on the palate and great malty choc finish. Enjoy this one with pork chops. dkachur (2318), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Mar 3, 2009 12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear reddish brown color with a medium head. Appearance: It pours a very dark clear nut brown beer with a small head. Not much lacework. Aroma: A lot of US hops. Sweet with huge amounts of candy floss which is accompanied by hints of walnuts and malt. Flavor and palate: Light to medium bodied. Good hop presence. Nutty. Pretty sweet. Highly drinkable. Low bitterness but with a beautiful hop presence adding a lot to the taste. Some vanilla sneaking in. Dryish finish. Overall impression: Good and very pleasant. nwhicks (4), USA does not count Feb 12, 2009 Loved it. Definitely different than an English brown ale. Very smooth. I will keep this on hand in my bar at home.
