Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Jul 5, 2008 Bottle purchased at Sam’s Wine & Spirits, in Chicago. Pours a deep, clear mahogany with a creamy, rocky, beige head. The nose is a pleasant, roasty, nutty/chocolate aroma. Light to medium-bodied and creamy with a lightly bitter-hopped finish. Roasted, nutty malt with a nice complement of chocolate malt, the flavor finishes with an earthy hop finish and a lingering nutty aftertaste. One of the better brown ales that I’ve sampled, this is one that’s easy to recommend. bag (103), Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 4, 2008 From bottle... poured mahogany with medium cream-colored head.
