Jul 12, 2008 Draft w/lunch today at a kingston BBQ pit. Light nose of malts comes of moderatly carbonated brown ale in shaker glass. Body is light to medium and just a tad watery. creamy body ends with a nutty mellow hop finish.

Jul 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours brown with a reddish hint. Smell of rosted malt and hint of chocolate. Taste is much the same with a nutty aftertaste. Good brown here.

Jul 5, 2008 Bottle purchased at Sam’s Wine & Spirits, in Chicago. Pours a deep, clear mahogany with a creamy, rocky, beige head. The nose is a pleasant, roasty, nutty/chocolate aroma. Light to medium-bodied and creamy with a lightly bitter-hopped finish. Roasted, nutty malt with a nice complement of chocolate malt, the flavor finishes with an earthy hop finish and a lingering nutty aftertaste. One of the better brown ales that I’ve sampled, this is one that’s easy to recommend.

Jul 4, 2008 From bottle... poured mahogany with medium cream-colored head. Fantastic roasty, nutty aroma. Flavor was not very deep, but was decent. Finished smooth. Quite enjoyable.

Jul 3, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours reddish brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is moderately sweet, light nutty malt, a hint of floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet, some chocolate, roasted malt, lightly hoppy. Medium bodied. Slightly dry bitter finish.

Jun 29, 2008 12 oz bottle...poured cola colored w/ a cream colored head. The head was mostly lasting and provided soapy lacing to the last drop. The aroma were of chocolate, caramel, and toffee. The flavor was a mild sweetness with the aforementioned notes. The beer was light w/o being watery and had a mice bittersweet finish. Great brown ale that I could easily session...

Jun 23, 2008 Brown with a nice lacing head. Chocolate, malt and roast on the nose. Creamy and watery at the same time. A little yeasty and sour.
