COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Brown Ale, made exclusively with American ingredients, won Bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the Strong Ale Category in 1991 and in the American Brown Ale Category in 1992. Brooklyn Brown uses pale, crystal, chocolate, and black malts to attain a complex creamy texture. It is more heavily hopped than its British forbears.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a clear brown, orange hues, with off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain. Flavor of faint caramel, toasted grains, as well as a slight hoppy flavor and nice small bitter. Light-medium body with high carbonation....Over all, easy drinking and tasty..

Wonderful combination of fruity ester and conplex malts in the nose. Flavor is malt forward with some biscuit and raisen, caramel. Body is meduim. Hop flavor is american. Bitterness is moderate to full. I’d like to make this beer. Caramel malt, chocolate, WYeast 1057, biscuit malt? special b?. Well balanced beer.

Draft: pours a dark brown with a thin tan head, aroma of malt, caramel, taste is malty with some chocolate, pretty bitter as well - I was surprised to see such a hop presence in this.
