4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 bshep (96) - - JUN 14, 2013
Great Brew. A little heavier tasting than most other brown ales I’ve had, but still very smooth. Great for an average night out. A must try.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BeerKurve (233) - - JUN 11, 2013
Dark Brown/Crimson color with a frothy slightly off-white head and tons of lacing. Nose consists of chocolate, nuts, roasted malts and slight floral hops. Flavor has chocolate, malts, nuts, cocoa, and a very slight hoppiness. Body is moderate and the carbonation is mild. Pretty good brown ale overall
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kevinator (360) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Not bad but more English than expected and not as hop-centric as the description indicated, which I don’t believe is necessary for a brown ale. Sweet malt and roasted aroma. Murky brown color with medium head. Thicker palate than average but not overly creamy. Carbonation was average. Roasted malts were not as pronounced as I prefer bit this was well balance. I think I tasted a dried fruit essence at the finish. Some nuttiness as well. Good mix of flavors.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Torrefacto (87) - - JUN 7, 2013
Color caoba oscuro. Aromas predominantemente dulces y tostados. En bocaxcomienza con un dulzor tostado agradable y acaba con una acidez ligera. Nada espectacular, pero no está mal.
3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 daniellunsford (67) - - JUN 5, 2013
Pours a chocolate brown with a nice three finger head. Aroma of mocha and cereal. A heavy metallic wallop on the pallet that is not balanced. Kind of disappointed after trying with the reviews i’ve read.

Dark mahogany, 1 finger head. Hoppy taste with chocolate aftertaste. Low bubbles with intonations of cola. Okay.
