Brooklyn Brown Ale, made exclusively with American ingredients, won Bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the Strong Ale Category in 1991 and in the American Brown Ale Category in 1992. Brooklyn Brown uses pale, crystal, chocolate, and black malts to attain a complex creamy texture. It is more heavily hopped than its British forbears.

One of the best brown ales I ever had. The aroma and taste remember some citric fruits. The body density is very fair and the foam last forever. I couldn?t tell any coffee in the aroma nor taste as some others did.

A very nice brown! Pours brown w/ a tan head & moderate lacing. The aroma is enticing as it’s full of chocolate & dark malts. The taste is slightly roasty & chocolate. It’s a touch thin but this makes it quite easy to drink especially if u need more than 1. Funny that it was once awarded as a "strong beer" cause it is delightful on a fall day to throw back a few!
