Aroma of molasses, malt and nuts?
Nice malty flavor with just enough hops to balance it out. Perfect with a summertime barbecue. spkldhenlvr24 (470), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA

Great slight hoppy, roasted nutty aroma. Perfect brown ale flavor. Good malty, roasted taste, sweet. Good, but I fell like I’ve had better for some reason. blankboy (3263), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small diminishing light-brown head. Wonderful aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, nuts and hops -- definitely one the best smelling Browns I’ve had the pleasure to smell. Flavour follows the aroma -- starts sweet and roasty and ends with a pleasant bitterness. Medium bodied. Wow, Brown Ales are far from being a favourite of mine but leave it to Brooklyn to make a really good one -- I love this Brewery. jonsiii (157), Fredericia, Denmark

Nice taste of roasted malts and some coffee notes. Average palette and aperance but try to forget that and taste and smell it instead. More of this... YK23 (271), Haifa, Israel
