COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Brown Ale, made exclusively with American ingredients, won Bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the Strong Ale Category in 1991 and in the American Brown Ale Category in 1992. Brooklyn Brown uses pale, crystal, chocolate, and black malts to attain a complex creamy texture. It is more heavily hopped than its British forbears.

1 pint draught, Stout NYC. Small head, but one that clings to the glass leaving a nice lace around the glass. Sweet malty toasted aroma. Mellow roasted flavours. Aftertaste is slightly dry from hops and a litlle roasted and nutty malts.

Brown in color. etter than most brown ale’s I’ve had. A hint of coffee. Could be more hoppy.

Rating #150!!! Mahogany coloring with a small off-white head. A very nice ale with a roasted mouthfeel perfect for a brown. Very good stuff.

Brownish color with notes of red and a small tan head. Malt, caramel, and roasted nut aroma. Medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Flavors of caramel, chocolate, nuts, and malt. Followed by a gentle hop finish. Easy drinking.

Sweet sugar aroma. This is quite sweet. A bit tingly and nutty in the finish. Okay, but not great.

Mahogany with a fairly tall offwhite head. Nice malt aroma. Characterized by a coffee flavor with a slight hoppy bitterness occasionally popping through.

Roasty Chocolate flavor. Its definitely more creamy than other Browns I’ve had. Great flavor. Not to hoppy or malty. Definitely a very fine beer.
