COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Brown Ale, made exclusively with American ingredients, won Bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the Strong Ale Category in 1991 and in the American Brown Ale Category in 1992. Brooklyn Brown uses pale, crystal, chocolate, and black malts to attain a complex creamy texture. It is more heavily hopped than its British forbears.

12 oz bottle, clear reddish brown hue with creamy white head, minimal lacing, caramel, chocolate malt smell, watery to syrup texture, very minimal carbonation, tastes like the smell, don’t love the style or the brewer but this is a decent effort, a little too lit and sweet, malty aftertaste, I’m sure someone loves this, not me though

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours clear, brown, small tan head, no real lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, some dark fruits and caramel. Taste is malty, some sweetness from caramel notes and a very slight hoppiness. Nice, true to the style and quite easy to drink.

Rather bland brown ale, had it from the fridge, maybe it would give more flavour at room temperature?

Bottle. Brown color. Little aroma. Malty with bitter finish. Pretty average and typical for the style. Not impressive.

Bottle from sampler pack during Office Space anniversary party. Fudge brown color. No real aroma. Taste has some chocolate notes with roasted malt coming through. A little too much bitterness at the end and kind of thin. Not one of my favorites.

Bottle to wine glass Nutmeg, chocolate, toasted malt, grape, yeast. Deep reddish, thin creamy tan head, some bubbles, no effervescence. Lots of malt, nutmeg, a touch of touch.

Pours ruby brown with a nice size tan head. Aroma is of toffee, caramel, leather, and plums. Tastes of toffee, caramel, brown bread, roasted malts, and nuts. Has too much of a light body that is smooth and maybe a little watery. The body kind of ruined it for me.

Bottle. Dark ruby with little head. Dominated by chocolate, roasted malt and a lot of dark fruit sweetness. Not as balanced as I expected but ok.

Bottle, Clarion Gillet Uppsala. Interesting features, complex aroma. Somewat thin texture, but on the whole pleasant.
