COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Brown Ale, made exclusively with American ingredients, won Bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the Strong Ale Category in 1991 and in the American Brown Ale Category in 1992. Brooklyn Brown uses pale, crystal, chocolate, and black malts to attain a complex creamy texture. It is more heavily hopped than its British forbears.

Bottle, given to me by my brother. He swears by this stuff. Beautiful brownish-red color with a beige head. Aroma is sweet with noticable hops. Nice body, slightly bitter. Good.

Cerveja de cor acobreada escura, bastante vistosa. A espuma é fina e pouco presente.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a point glass. Aroma- Has a nice nut aroma with a well balanced malt mix. Appearance- This a very dark brown colored beer with a small off-white head. Taste- A big nut bomb flavor with a great malt blend. Has a great flavor that grew on me after each sip. Palate- A medium bodied beer with mild carbonation. Overall- This is a good beer, starting to build a lot of respect for Brooklyn Brewery.

Old rating. Bottle from old town. Pours a dark brown with a modest tan head. Aromas of malt, chocolate, molasses and pine. Tastes more of the same with the molasses standing out as it comes to room temperature. Slightly sweet with a bitter finish. Full-bodied. Nice brown.

From bottle at Stavanger Airport Sola 09.03.15. Very dark brown. Pale brown head. Aroma of dark malt, dark caramel and chocolate. Taste of dark malt and coffe, with a slight hint of pine and refreshing citrus. Perhaps just the tiniest hint of smoke throughout.
