3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: On tap at Hop Devil Grill, 2/10/10
Aroma: Roasted malts, raisins, chocolate, and nuts
Appearance: Dark brown color with a tan head
Flavor: Sweet roasted malt flavor, raisin, oatmeal
Palate: Medium body, smooth and drinkable
At first I was feeling a lot of sugary sweetness in this one, but there are some other parts to it as well. It turns out to be a pretty nice porter, it has a lot of flavor, and though it is a touch too sweet, I did like it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks to speedwayjim for sharing. Dark brown pour with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate and dark fruit. Chocolate, caramel, coffee and brown sugar. This is decent but, the ccb cookie beer trumps it

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Coles, Buffalo, NY. Pours a very dark brown with a spare creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, sugary sweet, with raisins, oatmeal and cookie dough. Odd flavour: Malty and sweet, raisins again, along with some chocolate, oatmeal and some alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Didnít love it but it is interesting. Just O.K. overall.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Churchkey in DC. Pours a translucent dark brown with a mahogany tinge with very little beige head. Aroma is mild, some sweetness, some dark fruit, a little booze. The flavor is very nice, the raisins come through nicely, some spice, a distinct maltiness, light sweetness. Finish is a little hot with a burnt toast kick. Could have used a nice nose to go with the flavor. A delicate chocolate flavor came out as it warmed up as well.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap for growler fills (or will be shortly, it was just hooked up this afternoon) at Half Time. Pours a jet black to brown with a thin tan head. Raisins, sweet malt, vanilla, and a touch of cinnamon as this warms. This definitely needs some time to warm as everything was muted when it came off tap, but 10 minutes sitting at room temperature and it really opened up. Smooth and spicy, sweet cinnamon notes, chewy raisins, malt, and roast. More roast, a little more raisin, and a bit of warming alcohol on the finish. I didnít get the cookie dough ice cream flavor coworkers were tasting, but still enjoyed it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Redlight Redlight. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla and cake batter. Flavor, however, is where this falls apart. Flavor was full of bubble gum, and the vanilla/cookie flavors just got lost. Disappointed, as I was expecting a sweet treat.
