Bottle (750ml) from Brooklyn Rep Rich, Many thanks!! Golden pour with some apple juice mixed in. Pretty flat. no pop on opening caged & corked. Sweet apple, grapes. Sweet reisling really takes over the beer. Interesting beer that may have lost some life to it. Awesome score, thanks again

Tap @ BBF:NOTF. Nose has a big woody & clay-like character with a solid booze hit. I was never the hugest fan of the aroma of Local 1 and this didn’t do too much to improve upon it. Flavor is booze, clay, earthy funk. Its a lot to take in.

Pouring at the Night of the Funk in Boston. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thin white head. Soft funky yeast. Yeast and phenols, musk. Sweet and lightly funky. Musk, a touch of alcohol, warm yeast on the finish.

Bottle at The Diamond during the Brooklyn Ghost Bottles event. Pours clear gold with a very faint, filmy head. Tart, white grapes in the nose, sugar, brett, slight butter. Medium sweet flavor, some harsh alcohol, some juicy grapes, a bit of white sugar. Full bodied, vinous with fine carbonation. Big heat to finish, some caramel and sugar, a further vinous character. Really a bit too warming for me. Does dry out very well at the end and the complexity is great.

The aroma is fruit, boozy, grapes. The appearance is a hazy orange, tiny white head. The flavor is booze, fruit, caramel, bread - excellent. The finish is piney hops, booze warming. Medium in body. Awesome.
