(750ml bottle) clear gold, bright, fine offwhite bubbles. Nose of Chardonnay, grapes, Brett, light bourbon characters, floral leaves. Complex. Taste is vinous, white wine, lightly tart, citrusy Brett, very deceptive alcohol, the grapes hide it so well. Very carbonated and super dry.

Smell is sweet, sour, fruity and spicy with dark grapes, wood, grass, sweet dark bread, dry soil, leather, woody tannins, barnyard and hints of candi sugar. Taste is sweet and malty with dark bread, brett, dark grapes, black winegums, hay, candi sugar, lemon zest, wood, rosé wine and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is tiny dry, round, tiny boozy, tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and sour with dark bread, green grapes, wood, hay and dry soil. Very nice...

750ml bottle. Pours a clear, medium gold, with a pinkish hue, and a thin, white head. Fruity, spicy aroma, wood, wine, grapes, red fruit, malt, yeast, malt, subtle Pinot Noir notes, grapefruit peel. Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Spicy, yeasty taste, malt, grapes, wood, dill, red berries, lemon peel, wine-like notes, some funky elements. Very well balanced, impressive! Bottle at North Bar, Leeds (Brooklyn and Nogne night). Aroma is stunning fruity funk - loads of juicy esters and yeast notes. Taste is truly brilliant, apricot, orange, some tart apples too. Like a 10% gueuze. Hint of sweetness, all the more remarkable as Gartett told us there was "no residual sugar". Dry sharp finish. This is utterly awesome.

Drank out of bottle poured by Garret himself at Brooklyn Ghost Bottles event at Blue Ribbon. Pours light rose colored with white head. tastes slightly sour, of oak, wine barrel, yeast, cloves, slightly bitter and pretty dry. kind like a glass of champagne. quite enjoyable
