FaithHealer1 (358) - SCOTLAND - OCT 15, 2013
Keg at North Bar, Leeds. Pours a straw yellow, finger of head. Aroma is brilliant: up close, it’s banana, clove, honey, toffee, classic Tripel. At a bit more of a distance, the vapours smell like incense sticks! Taste is great as well - soft toffee, banana, clove, a little bit of orange, cinnamon (almost apple pie), plenty more spice. Long finish, very nicely balanced: not too cloying, bitterness doesn’t overcompensate. Lovely stuff, really nice.

A hazed golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, classic fruity malt with banana, cloves, coriander, very perfumy and nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with banana, berries, coriander and curacao, alcohol warmth, well done. On tap at Brooklyn Pour 2013.
