Sample at Daily Growler. Pours a mostly clear amber-gold color with a medium off-white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of yeast, pepper and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of peppery yeast, herbal hops and fruit. The finish is herbal with a peppercorn aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft at barcade. Pours a lightly cloudy golden amber with thin head and no lace. Nose of honey, tons of spice, sugar, lime, banana, bubblegum. Slightly warming. Too spicy for me.

Barcade, Philadelphia tap ($6): Pours amber with a full head. Aroma is all over the place. There is a lot of yeast, with tons of fruitiness, and a hefty dosage of spice. Loads of bubblegum everywhere. The lemon-lime is prominent, and it melds interestingly with the substantial maltiness, banana, and sweetness. This ain’t exactly cake, but something like it. Mild hoppiness and lingering aftertaste

On tap at the brewery, pours a dark orange with a small head. Nose is all cloves, yeast and heavy banana. Taste is full of cloves, spice and deep banana. Finish end in the same spicy notes and moderately long finish. Quaff Score 8 / 10

On tap at Brooklyn Brewrry. Pours a golden amber with a beige head and aroma of spices and cloves. Taste is of bananna, cloves, spices, and heat while sweet and fruity leading to a long, yeasty finish. Nice Belgain

On tap at Pinocchios in Media. Pours a hazy light amber with a white head. Very nice aroma of sweet fruit, flowers, lemon, and some Belgian like spice. The flavor has the above with a very nice amount of hops to balance. The finish leaves you wanting some more. Nicely done.
