COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Dry Stout is a bold, reddish-black Irish-style stout, rich in color but low in alcohol and very drinkable. The dark colors results from brewing with roasted malts, lending Brooklyn Dry Stout a chocolate/coffee-like flavor with a bit of an espresso bite. The finish is dry and crisp and invites another pint.

Pours reddish black with not much head and no lacing. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste is the same, but with very dry and bitter chocolate.

12 ounce bottle pours a black color with a tan head that dissipates very quickly. Very nice sweet multi roast the aroma. Very thin mouth feel almost like water. Not much flavor at all very disappointing. This beer was six months past it's Best By date that may have something to do with The poor rating. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown with some reddish highlights. Nice nose of some coffee. Taste of some roasted malts and coffee, but very dry / non-hopped finish which I didn't love. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Black with a light tan head. I didnít get much aroma except a tiny bit of chocolate. Dry, dirty, bitter coffee and coco flavors. Way more carbonation than I expected.

Draught@Black Heart, London. Deeo ambery brown colour with a small creamy longlasting head. Aroma is caramel, coffee, some resin, mild berries and some nuttiness. Flavour is very similar, but the flavour doesnít stay for very long in the aftertaste.

This beer wonít blow your socks off but you could easily drink more than a few of these. Taste is dry, palate is medium. At 4.7% this is great for tailgateing on cool college Saturday mornings. Easy drinking. Try it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks zvikar. As Brooklyn Dry Irish Stout. Very dark brown. Aroma of licorice, coffee, a bit of roastiness and nutty notes. Flavor is a bit roasty, coffe-ish, with light acidity and a dry finish. Medium-bodied.

12 ounce bottle, stamp says BB Jun 2013. Labeled as Brooklyn Dry Irish Stout, 4.7% ABV. Oh well, itís just a couple months after that now. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like roasted malt, coffee, and a bit of bittersweet chocolate. It tastes mostly like roasted malt and coffee, along with some bittersweet chocolate, burnt/charred malt, and a bit of cream. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís smooth and easy to drink with moderate carbonation. Picked this up as part of a mix 6-pack at Kroger earlier today, I think I might have to try this fresher when it comes out again next year. I liked it, definitely worth a try.
