COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Dry Stout is a bold, reddish-black Irish-style stout, rich in color but low in alcohol and very drinkable. The dark colors results from brewing with roasted malts, lending Brooklyn Dry Stout a chocolate/coffee-like flavor with a bit of an espresso bite. The finish is dry and crisp and invites another pint.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with almost no head on it. Nose is very dry and almost sour, with some decent roasting to it. Taste is also dry with roasting in there as well. Clean finish.

Bottle from Glug, Newcastle. This is a very dark brown-black beer with a thin tan head. It has a sweet milk chocolate and coffee flavour with a slightly thin body, more chocolate notes and a roasted malty finish.

Pours a very dark blackish color with a good dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate, malt, roasty, bready, cocoa powder, coffee. Taste is espresso and coffee, chocolate, slightly bitter, bready. Overall a great beer from the style, also extremely light and drinkable for the flavors it brings.

Dark brown pour with creamy brown head. Roast malt aroma with hints of cocoa. Flavor is as promised: dry. Roasted coffee, with a light bitterness in the finish (reminiscent of medium dark cocoa or black coffee). Very nice, would love to try a nitro version of this.

Keg, Brewdog, Leicester. Very dark brown with a cream foam. Aromas are nutty weetabix with chocolate and coffee. Yeast with light blackberries. Flavours are dry, roasted coffee with mellow blackberries and pepper. Some underlying dark chocolate comes through after it is warmed up. Spritzy carbonation on the palate. Decent.
