COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Dry Stout is a bold, reddish-black Irish-style stout, rich in color but low in alcohol and very drinkable. The dark colors results from brewing with roasted malts, lending Brooklyn Dry Stout a chocolate/coffee-like flavor with a bit of an espresso bite. The finish is dry and crisp and invites another pint.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2013 12oz bottle into English pint glass. Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste is the aroma with more semi-sweet chocolate note, ashy smoke, a little metallic and a dry bitter earthy hop finish. Light body, creamy, crisp, tart and a little astringent. Overall a pretty good dry stout.

Dark brown pour with creamy brown head. Roast malt aroma with hints of cocoa. Flavor is as promised: dry. Roasted coffee, with a light bitterness in the finish (reminiscent of medium dark cocoa or black coffee). Very nice, would love to try a nitro version of this.

Very dark brown, near black, appearance with a nice, lasting tan head. Aroma is milk chocolate with some roasted malts and caramel notes. Nice body, creamy with good carbonation. Coffee flavor, dark roast, light chocolate and a medium bitter finish. Something about all Brooklyn Brewery beers, they have a very distinct flavor/aroma to me... kind of like an orange/metallic note towards the end. Very distinct but hard to describe. This beer is very nice, I think it’s pretty true to the style and done right. Very flavorful for such low abv, really enjoyed this one, pleasantly surprised.
