Jul 2, 2009 Thanks Joe McPhee. Pours a clear amber, modest off white head, essentially no lace. Aroma is hoppy, musty, with a bit of caramel, overall muted. Flavor has a lot of hops-grapefruit bitterness, but less in terms of hops aromatics. Malt backbone is a bit husky. Well-balanced, but with a metallic edge. Thin to medium body, juicy refreshing mouthfeel.

Jul 1, 2009 Pours nice hazy color with a thin white head. Smells of bitter hops and earth. The malt background is a little too inconspicuous and the mouthfeel is rather thin. The flavor is nicely bitter with a sweet citrus hint kick in the finish.

A nice citrus hoped English style IPA, this is a pretty decent example of the style, not spectacular, but certainly drinkable.

Jun 22, 2009 12oz bottle pours golden orange to a one inch head with nice lacing that actually disappeared off the glass rather quickly..this is definitely a English style IPA, hops are much less present than your American style hop rockets that I’m used too..aroma’s of light hops, perfume and citrus..taste of the same, not enough hops present for my IPA acquired taste, this could be a nice Pale Ale with a little less alcohol which comes through a little strong or unhidden..Overall I do feel it’s still quite enjoyable, especially if your into more of a English, Belgium style taste. Although it might be more true to the original IPA style, for me it doesn’t quite stack up to the great IPA’s I’ve been tasting in the states...

does not count  Jun 19, 2009 Poured amber with a small head, nice lace. Nose of citrus, pine, and malty, very mild however. Taste is slightly hoppy and bitter, very subtle, if any sweet notes. A bit unimpressed with the flavors, expected more hops per description, but definitely a session beer.
