Some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is hoppy with some citrus/grapefruit. Little malt to back it up. Good palate. Finish is bitter and lingering. I really like this one... Not very balanced would like to see more body it feels like its missing something. also bottle says 6.9 not 6.8 obviously not a big deal but maybe could be corrected on the site. Not a very noteworthy beer overall altonbrownd (1888), Amsterdam, Netherlands

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 30, 2009 Bottle. Clear, coppery gold; loose but longlasting soapsud foam. Amazing hop aroma: spice, tropical fruit, grape, citrus, earth… and biscuits-with-honey malt. Toffeeish malt flavor, lightly toasty. Crisp with citric and herbal hop flavor. Clean bitterish finish, peachy aftertaste. Lightish, spritzy mouthfeel, very cleansing. Excellent beer. HighlanderOne (541), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Poured from bottle. Aroma of hop, malt, ocean. Opaque amber, tan head persists. Nice hop mix that dominates without being too sharp. Malts round out flavor, giving creamy feel. Finished nicely. Well done.
