Oct 3, 2008 Copper-amber color. One finger head diminishes to nice, fine lace. Aroma is solid maltiness with some warming alcohol and a bit of citrusy hops. High carbonation gives a tangy bite to mouthfeel. Hop bitterness is the only flavor aspect that I’m getting real range in--the beer’s greatest strength. More body than most IPAs.

Sep 29, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear, dark amber with a white head. Nose is malt and slight citrus hops. Taste is like peach-flavored iced tea. Mouthfeel is medium with a bitter finish. More like a pale ale than an IPA and not as strong on the citrus flavor as I’d prefer.

Sep 27, 2008 I felt like this was a weak IPA. It tasted a little bit watered down for me. I expected alot because Brooklyn makes good beer but I was disappointed.

Sep 27, 2008 Bottle at Volo, September 2008. Pours a wonderful golden colour with 2cm thick, fading head. Aromas are floral with pine, lemon and some orange in the hops. The hop bitterness is not terribly strong; nicely balanced: starts sweet with maybe a bit of berry and some citrus fruit, then there is heavy apricot with bitter hops leading to apple and sweetness with a slightly bitter hop finish.

Sep 27, 2008 Pours an orange copper color with a medium to large sized creamy off white head. Nose is floral and citrus with lots of sweet malt but also tangy. Interesting and delicious nose. Taste is malty and very bitter with more citrus which is nice but the mouthfeel is kind of harsh and acidic. Overall a pretty tasty beer that went great with pizza.

Sep 26, 2008 Pours with a large, frothy, off-white head. Hazy orange body. Aroma of citrus (orange) and slightly spicey hops. Taste is a bit bitter, but theere is a lot of malt covering it. Water like mouthfeel, light bubbles.

Sep 22, 2008 This ale pours a nice amber color with a small head The nose is of slight citrus hops, but in a very mild way. Taste is pretty good, but definetly mild. This isn’t what alot of people would consider a tipycal IPA, but it makes for a good drink. Definetly an English style IPA.
