You can smell the hops in this beer with a little bit of citrus. Taste has hoppiness and a hint of pine. Some sweetness to the beer and very drinkable. Decent ABV percentage compared to the other Brooklyn beers, but it is not overpowering. Nice beer. bermod (118), Lappeenranta, Finland

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 28, 2008 A solid English style IPA. Pours a golden amber color with foamy head. Aroma is piney hops. Flavor is well balanced with some sweet malts that help to smooth the bitter hops producing an ale that is smooth, slightly sweet and has a dry bitter finish that lasts. Nicely done IPA. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 27, 2008 Cloudy dark golden pour with decent white head, this IPA has a pronounced hop presence but it not ridiculously bitter like so many American IPAs.
The commercial description mentions that Brooklyn uses English hops and malts..they must also know how to make it better. Nice beer.
