Brooklyn East India Pale Ale, originally a summer seasonal, has been getting raves since becoming a year round offering in 1996. Garrett Oliver, a student of English brewing and beer history, uses English malts and hops to brew his EIPA in the classic, heavily-hopped style of the 19th century beers created for British soldiers serving in India.

Hultsfred, flaska. Fruktig väl sammansatt arom. Vitt skum. Mycket välbalanserad. Pålitlig och en tröst bland idiotbittra ipa:s

33cl bottle at home. Hazy golden with a medium white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium bitterness with subtle fruity sweetness. Pine, grapefruit, citrus, caramel and peach. A tasty IPA.

Small, fast gone yellowish head over faintly veiled orange-copper beer. Citrussy, limepeel, oranges; faintly meaty nose. Quite bitter, but a smooth bitterness; marmalade, bit astringent. Finish is a tad less fresh, more alternative flour-like. Light body - feels a lot more spritzy than its lame looks. Quite good, if indeed certainly not a West Coast IPA.

A malty beer with some hop traces. More like an a maty impetial pils than a IPA. Ok.

Very acessible and a bit boring. The nose is nicely fresh floral hops. The flavor is malty fruity fresh with nice hops but not very bitter. Middle of the road.

Bottled from AH in Mestreech. Orange colour with huge white head. Hoppy and fruity nose. Aroma is hops, fruits and, vitrus tones and caramel. Flavour is the same with mix of hops. Bitter hoppy ending. Great!
