Great flavor with juicy and mouthwatering hops. Never harshly bitter, but nicely fruity. Very good. Slightly winey in a good way, altho alcohol is amazingly well hidden. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Golden caramel brown in color. Looks decent. The hop smell is too subtle to be an IPA. The hop smell is not what I expected. There is some subtle malt smell as well. I just think that the aroma is a big let down in the realm of hops. I have used this hop I believe in my home brewing operation. The hops smell like vegetables, and I am smelling that in the aroma. The range of hops used doesn’t seem great. Decent palate. Not too creamy and not too thin, average. The malt flavor is noticeable in the flavor, and so are the hops, but they just don’t show up in the flavor as I would like them to. The bittering hop is pretty good, I can taste the bitter in the back of my mouth, but the flavor hop is just lacking. Decent brew, it is in the right percentile if you ask me. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Poured a deep amber body with a healthy looking cream head. Big floral, sweet malty, nutty nose. Very impressive nose. Potently hopped and malted for an English style IPA. Grapefruit and resinous pines in nose, but not cloying. Finished smooth and proved to be quite enjoyable. performula (147), Triangle Area, North Carolina, USA

Malty aroma of hops. Not all to powerfull. Flavour ditto. A bit weak for my likening, but OK. JamesD (194), Centreville, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 24, 2007 A very good IPA. The hoppiness is more prominent in the aroma than in the flavor, and there is more ester flavor in this beer than one would expect for an IPA. IrishBoy (2704), Bakersfield, California, USA

Not a hop bomb, but lightly hopped and balanced.
