Totally clarity. Aroma is dirty, mingled with faint hops, rice noodles, and off-grains. Sure, it’s got characteristic hop schmalz, but nothing anybody wants. Flavor was heading towards what I expected with a body that just failed. Weak and thin, but backed with bad grain flavors. That’s not to say it was terrible, just mediocre and uninspired. There were standard caramels, noble hop sugars and candied citrus. Vegetal and lightly creamy. Any yeast characters play low and get lost in a weird spicy contingent that’s either derivative of the hopping or grain character. Not nearly as good as I was hoping for. Yeah, Garrett, Pad Thai is good. And pairing it with an IPA is better. Just make sure it’s not this one. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

Aromas of orange juice, juniper and spiced biscuits. Dirty bathroom stink, clean caramel sugar, and cayenne pepper with a little agitation. Crisp flavor of sagebrush and a really sharp, canned, pearlike sweetness. Underlying hints of mandarin orange, mango, wood. A little alcoholic warmth. Finishes on an astringent rush of plain soap. Uneventful and dull. A kiss of creamy texture does a fair job of neutralizing the vegetal bite. As an English rendition this works well enough. nicolascage (105), Copenhagen (Virum), Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 3, 2007 Poured from a 12oz bottle into a shaker. This IPA poured a slightly hazy amber color with a big, rocky, beige head that quickly faded away into a thin layer of bubbles. The aroma was made up of caramel, grapefruit, and also some pine. The flavor was also full of caramel notes, followed by some citrus hop bitterness. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation. This was an excellent, easy drinking IPA. Aromatic nuances of fruits and fine floral hops with a discreet milky touch. Rich flavours of caramel malts, dark fruits and spicy hops tending towards marmalade. Moderate to full mouthfeel (Sommarøya, 18.08.2007). pamoja (57), Rochester, New York, USA

Smell: Aroma of fresh biscuits with a touch of caramel and hints of flowers.
Taste: Dry, flakey biscuit maltiness with only a thin dose of sweetness. There’s a moderate citric bitterness that slowly builds along with distinct mint-like flavor. Finishes bitter and lingering.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Drinkability: A decent, fairly easy-going IPA. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
