demitriustown (689), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA Jun 22, 2007 12 oz bottle: Aroma of fruity hops, light malts, somewhat heavy, and lightly creamy scent. Appearance is a amber/orange color with a small head that dissapears quickly. Taste consists of a bit fruity hop note, grapefruit, pine needles, and a ever so lightly sprinkling of caramel malts intermingled with some spice. Aftertaste is bitter and really crisp for an IPA. Overall, Very nice IPA. I like this one! Cheers!!! BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark Jun 21, 2007 [Sampled in 2004 in Kolding DØE.]
Long time ago it was very nice, sweethoppy and with a high drinkability. Now it’s anotherone in the stream of good microbrews. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Jun 19, 2007 Pours light copper with off white head. The aroma is grapefruit and orange rind. Pretty nice. There is a lightly vague-ish sweetness somewhere behind the hops. The taste starts off with some malt sweetness and grapefruit hoppiness that seems to mix into a sweet citrus flavor. Then the citrus grapefruit hop bitterness hits with all its mild might. Very fresh tasting and enjoyable IPA. Eckato (89), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA Jun 17, 2007 Poured in Shaker...not much of a head or carbonation. Orange in color with a nice finish. Very drinkable. slimchill (773), Austin, Texas, USA Jun 17, 2007 Updated: Dec 14, 2007Bottle. Nose is citrus hops all around. Clear orange-amber with no head. Very well balanced hop-led taste with a smooth drinkable palate. Nice session IPA. robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jun 17, 2007 lots of wonderful floranl hops, the citrus is more pronounced in the flavour that others i’ve had, big ornage and lemon notes, that reallt sitck to the back of your throat. reallygood bittering hops. very nice beer. JAF737300 (791), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 17, 2007 This is an excellent version of a classic british style pale ale. It has notes typical hops citrus and a nice malt mouthfeel. This transcends into a nice bitterness to finish it off. BCAR (216), Naperville, Illinois, USA Jun 16, 2007 Pours a luminescent orange color. Carbonation is very low and kind of a boring thing to look at in the glass. Atypical IPA with much more malt content than hop prominence. I taste licorice and syrup along with a background of english style hopping. Seems like it would be good on tap with the English bitter style. Finish is slightly bitter and lasts.
