Overall I was impressed with this beer. Poured nice with good color, smelled great, tasted smooth but hoppy and went down easy and not too strong. I didnt detect too much of a citrus or floral taste at all, just a straightforward IPA. I would get another bottle if I have the chance again. Boliv (191), New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 23, 2007 At the brewery. Golden, very little head. Nice aroma of hops and citrus. Crisp hoppy flavor. A good beer, though I’d choose Brooklyn Blast over this one if I wanted a hop fix. jrob21 (1257), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 22, 2007 On draft at the neighborhood joint down the street. Pale golden color is more reminiscient of a pilsner but the aromas and flavors come off like a mild pale ale. Decent beer but not overly unique. Would be a great hanging on the beach beer. surf1284 (91), USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 19, 2007 Pretty damn good beer. Drank it right after the pennant ale so the hop flavors hit me like a brick wall. Abundant hops, yet kinda sweet. yespr (12020), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 18, 2007 35.5 cL bottle. Pours clear amber with little head. Aroma is a nice soft blend of aroma hops and caramel malts. Flavour is wellbalanced hops and malts, the hops don’t really take over in the flavour like in most IPAs, but is softly gliding into the malt notes. Ends in a dry and yet soft bitterness JCB (1747), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 12, 2007 Far stronger than I expected, this is a richer, in some ways maltier offering than many standard session IPAs. Fairly typical citrus aroma, but a hugely frothing mouthfeel with some yeasty characters distinguishes this one. Very fine everyday IPA. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 12, 2007 Poured the typical orange color for and ipa but small head, not great lacing. Aroma was citrus pine and lemon. Flavor was lemon grapefruit and pine. Wasn’t overhopped maybe even under hopped. Just another IPA probstk (1027), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Deep amber, so-so off-white head, clear.
Aroma: Floral, herbaceous, peppery hops with candy malts behind.
Palate: Medium body, gentle carbonation, slight astringency.
Flav.: More of the nose, malt up front, hops behind; off-dry with a fairly bitter, peppery finish.
It’s decent IPA.
