GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 13, 2007 Bottle at beerbistro. Clear, bright amber-gold with a nice finger of white foam. Good nose, a bit resiny and fruity, sweet malt with fresh hops, very nice! Body is thin but crisp. The hops kick in a bit heavier than expected in the flavour, with some big grapefruit notes, a sweet middle, and a dry, slightly citric finish. Aside from the light body, this is a very nice IPA. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Jan 11, 2007 Aroma is of malt and some slight hops.Pours copper with a white head.Malt and a pretty good amount of hops in the flavor.Mouthfeel is a little thin with some bitter hops in the finish. gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 7, 2007 Bottle. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Powerfulæl flowerhoppy aroma. Not so great flavor, but still nice. Moderate bitter flavor and average finish. Watery palate. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Dec 31, 2006 Bottled. Clear, golden and with an off-white head. It has a nice, fruity hop-aroma, with grapefruit, pine and some hints of beef-stock. Hoppy and piny flavor as well, well balanced, and the stock-notes are present here as well. Medium to full body, quite drying, and a hoppy finish with some hints of alcohol. (061124) BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA Dec 31, 2006 Amber, slightly red body with little head to speak of. Smells very hoppy, both bitter and citrus. Hops dominate the flavor, though there’s a fair bit of malt there to support it. On the upper side of medium bodied, with hints of syruppyness... Not sure what to make of this one. Pretty tasty and non-offensive. Actually pretty good, IMO. I’d get this again. pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Dec 29, 2006 12oz brown bottle. Coppery orange colour, long lasting white head. Big citrus hop aroma - orangey and grapefruity. Sweetish caramel malt flavour with lemon and grapefruit hop background. Bitterness is modest, but there is a long hop aftertaste with some malt. Medium body, very lightly carbonated.
