ogglethorp (882), Ohio, USA Dec 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a huge white head. Rather mild aroma of hops, malts, spice. Flavor is bitter, piney, malt. Palate is light to medium, medium carbonation, bitter finish. Rather uninspiring. tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 11, 2006 huge billowy head, good amount of floral hops on the nose, good golden slightly amber colour. hmm more malty then expected but the hops come through on the finish well b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Dec 10, 2006 Updated: Jan 25, 2007Light in color. Strong grapefruit flavor. Not the best out there, I’ll have to rerate sometime Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Dec 9, 2006 Bottle. Clear slightly reddish yellow like in colour and a sparkling look. Initial appearance of head was medium. Compared with the Brooklyn Lager the aroma is much more powerful but the same catachrestical can be observed in both versions. Aroma was heavy hop flowery and some spicy, yeast as the predominant notes. The mouth feel is crispy and dry like. Favour was medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bitter hoppy finish. Borrrris (99), LINDENHURST, New York, USA Dec 6, 2006 Updated: Jul 9, 2007BOTTLE. Nice, but not strong, aroma. Medium bodied and fuller more complex palate than some other IPAs I have sampled. Hops-dominant enough for me. Crisp and very drikable; I liked it. BUY AGAIN?= oh, yes tmad (93), Dayton, Ohio, USA Dec 4, 2006 Amber in color with a small head. Tasty hops with floral, piney, somewhat citrusy flavors. A very good IPA, not exceptional but worthy. invalid (302), Columbus, Ohio, USA Nov 30, 2006 A nice copper color. Hop nose of sour fruits and pine. The malts are deep and complex with a hoppy kiss at the end. Bigger on the hops than it’s Brit cousins. I liked this one.
