Dec 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a huge white head. Rather mild aroma of hops, malts, spice. Flavor is bitter, piney, malt. Palate is light to medium, medium carbonation, bitter finish. Rather uninspiring.

Dec 9, 2006 Bottle. Clear slightly reddish yellow like in colour and a sparkling look. Initial appearance of head was medium. Compared with the Brooklyn Lager the aroma is much more powerful but the same catachrestical can be observed in both versions. Aroma was heavy hop flowery and some spicy, yeast as the predominant notes. The mouth feel is crispy and dry like. Favour was medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bitter hoppy finish.

Dec 4, 2006 Amber in color with a small head. Tasty hops with floral,piney, somewhat citrusy flavors. A very good IPA, not exceptional but worthy.

Nov 30, 2006 A nice copper color. Hop nose of sour fruits and pine. The malts are deep and complex with a hoppy kiss at the end. Bigger on the hops than it’s Brit cousins. I liked this one.

Aroma: cascade (right?), sweet malt, vaguely musty, applemust, less fresh hops, burnt sugar.
Flavour: papery bitterness, flowery, pretty dry, some sweetness.
Appearance: amber, yellowtinted lagerhead.
Palate: fluffy, fizzy, slightly rough. 6/2/6/3/12 2.9

Aroma: fruity, fresh hops, peppery, floral, rich malt.
Appearance: warm, golden appearance. Some pale foam that turns into strange ’laces’.
Flavour: nice, balanced, slightly sourish, refreshing bitterness, slightly harsh.
Palate: quite slimy, refreshing.
