BCMike22 (79), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Apr 1, 2008 Poured into pint glass. Nice, rich, creamy head. Settled down around rim. Color is light and golden, lighter than many IPA’s. Unbelievably floral hoppy smell, just amazing. Fantastic smelling brew.Very balanced in hops and malt, unlike a lot of IPA’s that are overhoppy (not bad or good). Full flavored beer. Rich and flowery hop finish. Sweet, yet balanced. Very tasty brew.
daforrds (177), richmond, Indiana, USA Jul 4, 2008 Maybe it has been around a little long, but i still dont see anything wrong with it...this is just a good solid beer biz82 (1297), austin, Texas, USA Jul 4, 2008 Clear amber, thin head. Super floral aroma with malt, citrus and fruity esters. Nice malty flavor but the hops aren’t as great in flavor as they are in the aroma. Noticeable alcohol. The bitterness is a bit rough. Not bad. bag (78), Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 4, 2008 From bottle... poured deep gold with fruity aroma. Flavor is weak citrus ad mighty bitter. Decent, but not among my favorite IPAs. knights97 (43), Tennessee, USA Jul 2, 2008 I’m a fan of hoppie beers that are thick in body and this one does it for me. VeryAmerican style IPA type with your taste of citrus balanced with your hop, copper in color and no bitterness to this one for me. MI2CA (1033), Noblesville, Indiana, USA Jul 1, 2008 12oz - Aroma of earthy hops, musty caramel malt and sour fruit. Pours transparent orange with a small head and good lacing. Flavor is pungent sour citrus hops and grassy malts. Palate is tart. Different but more sour and funky than I expect from an IPA. I will try it again for a rerate since it is possible this was past it’s prime.
