COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn East India Pale Ale, originally a summer seasonal, has been getting raves since becoming a year round offering in 1996. Garrett Oliver, a student of English brewing and beer history, uses English malts and hops to brew his EIPA in the classic, heavily-hopped style of the 19th century beers created for British soldiers serving in India.

12 oz. bottle poured into tulip glass. Opaque brownish-orange color. Medium white head which dissipates quickly with no lacing. Very citrus-y, floral scent. Similar taste, though not as strong as the aroma, hoppy with a touch of malt. Smooth, crisp feel with good amount of carbonation. Overall, a good beer, though far from the best IPA I’ve tried.

Amber. Medium head, medium retention, lacing. Mostly caramel in the nose, resambles a bit a baltic porter. Medium sweet, difficult to find the hops. Good structure grounded on a very good carbonation.

Un gout de fruit de la passion s’épanouit en bouche après les premières notes d’amertume. Comme toute bonne IPA, la longueur en bouche est profonde. Une réussite.

Middle of the road, not bitter but good strong hops. lighter than rogue Red Amber, stronger than a Saranac Pale Ale. Good appearance, not much head, but lacing is persistent, very light nose, carbonation is fine, rounded taste and good palate. no sweetish or bitter aftertaste. High alcohol for sessions but then who needs to drive home if they have trains and taxis

A warm golden hued EIPA, served in a shaker glass poured from a 12oz bottle at 40 degrees F. The aroma is very reserved, the taste and palate make up for it. It medium bodied, and the initial taste shows a strong, but not heavy, hops presence. This is not going to appease those who want to be knocked over, but instead, a very enjoyable and drinkable beer.

0,5l tap. Clear copper color. Hoppy aroma, several tropical fruits. The taste is clean and balanced, good basic beer but no major flavors. The taste of mango and mandarin, sweet but bitterness is low.

Cerveja dourada com pouca espuma. Aromas florais de lúpulo. Na boca, bem leve e refrescante. Excelente drinkabilty.

Colore ambrato chiaro, schiuma cremosa, carbonazione leggera da stile. Buona sentori speziati, resinosi, fruttati, agrumati e leggero erbaceo. Corpo rotondo, subito bella nota maltata dolce, poi amaro finale lungo. Bel bilanciamento di sapori. Buona.
