Pours dark amber with small foamy head. Aroma is of floral, woody hops and sweet, toasty malt. Flavor is very malty with earthy, woody, flowery hops. Smooth palate. Not an outstanding IPA but well balanced for an English Pale Ale.

Malty, grassy barn aroma with a hint of lemon. amber, clear, with bone white head that dissipates leaving good lacing and a film. Dry, medium bitterness, and fairly fizzy. i thought the finish was pretty abrupt. Definitely not a California style pale ale and is reminiscent of a lager but pretty drinkable.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv malzig, fruchtig herb. Geschmack sehr mild fruchtig bitter nach exotischen Früchten.

Helt klar, som en pils. Lukter pils med en liten ekstra maltovertone. Tynn smak. Som en pils med litt ekstra humle. Skuffende...

Draft last night Houlihans. Clear orange, white frothy head, a lot of lacing. Aroma was floral and fruity. The taste isn't great. It favors the English Pilsner/crystal malts and is lacking a hop punch. The mouthfeel is clean with high carbonation. This beer is made well for the style but, I prefer the American ipas with stronger hop notes. Ok, but I wouldn't get this again.

Aroma: Unmistakable caramel malts that tend toward tea; light-moderate hops are woody and a little lemony with a touch of floral perfume. Appearance: Nearly transparent copper pour with a frothy, bubbly bone coloured head that settles into a tacky (looking) skin; light carbonation sustains throughout. Flavor: Caramel up front with undertones of wood and earth; the flavor develops a dryness that comes off as a bit sharp, ending with more lemony hop character. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, astringent finish. Overall: Didn’t turn out as I’d hoped; I have the feeling this would be a lot better on tap.

Clear orange beer with a huge frothy white head leaving lacing on the glass. Aroma has flowers and malts. Kinda smells like Brooklyn Lager. Taste is fruity, malty, woody and bitter with surprisingly some alcohol. Quite British taste. Finish is medium long and has a moderate amount of bitterness. Mouthfeel is thicker than medium and overall soft with some tickling carbonation. It’s OK but I prefer IPA’s of the new world style.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reviewed from notes. Consumed July 3, 2012.
The appearance has a golden orange body that leaves a small lumpy white one finger head that dies within twenty seconds. The body was transparent enough to see streamy carbonated bubbles rising. Minimal lacing was left.
The smell has some malts through nice citrus/floral hops.
The taste is bittersweet through the malts which were then followed by the citrus/floral hops.
On the palate, it sits about a medium with some slight harshness on the tongue. It was slightly creamy and smooth in my mouth.
Overall, I would say I would have this again.

Bottle from Alko. Poured amber in color with a thick white head. Aroma has citrus, malt, caramel and mild nutty notes. Flavor very similar, lots of citrusy notes, hops, caramel. Decent, tasty IPA, recognizable Brooklyn house flavor.
