COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn East India Pale Ale, originally a summer seasonal, has been getting raves since becoming a year round offering in 1996. Garrett Oliver, a student of English brewing and beer history, uses English malts and hops to brew his EIPA in the classic, heavily-hopped style of the 19th century beers created for British soldiers serving in India.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine and More Cherry HIll NJ-Pours a light amber coloring with a bit fruity with a nice hoppy/bitter taste, but leaves a slight odd after taste which I feel it encourages you to drink more. Lots of carbonation. Pretty good for a IPA

Facile e buonissima

Mar 2015 - 35.5cl can, BB June 2015, 6.9%. Amber orange, slight haze, sparkling, big dense foamy off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is juicy citrus hop, musty, metallic, earth. Body is medium, foamy, tingly carbonation. Taste is soft biscuit malts, resin, soft grapefruit and lemon, a little buttery, dry finish, softly bitter. Strong hop character. Piney hop but also a nice use of Goldings. Good.

From the pour, I went full barrel trying to develop a lush head, nothing happened. The head died and there was no aroma to be seen. When you actually get down to drinking it, *boom* that's a beer. Crisp carbonation and a lovely smooth bitterness comes across the palate. The mouth feel of this beer is what saves it. It could be (and perhaps is, under a better pour) a much better beer, I really like the Brooklyn guys, keep on brewing!

Pours a nice copper color with a decent head leaving nice lacing. Slight maltiness with strong citrus nose. Nice fresh hoppiness with citrus flavors, very smooth mouthfeel. Very good ipa.

SB Hultsfred, flaska. Fruktig väl sammansatt arom. Vitt skum. Mycket välbalanserad. Pålitlig och en tröst bland idiotbittra ipa:s

Bottle @ Eeden, Tartu. Complex aroma. No much hops. Alcohol feels. Good. By taste seems like english strong ale.

En bra IPA som alltid funkar, relativt enkel och med mer inslag av malten än i många andra IPA's. Humle med viss kryddighet, fruktig, sötma, karamell malt, bra beska. Flaska från Systembolaget. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

No formal notes. Clear copper and big head. Complex, hoppy and malty. Balanced east coast style with some resinous and cereal scents. Medium bodied palate with balanced bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
