BEERGUY007 (168), Scotia, New York, USA Mar 24, 2008 EIPA is delicious. 12 ounce bottle from Glenville beverage. I loved this one. I was sceptical at first. I guess I always am when I try a new beer. dark brown in color, off white head. A little sweet but not too much. The malts are nice. Hops wee wonderful, present, but not overwhelming. I WILL get this one again.
SynergyXJ (395), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA Jul 22, 2008 Draught at The Cellar, Blacksburg VA, #390 Dark gold pour with decent head and great lacing. Citrus hop aroma and flavor. Good IPA, but pretty light. Can definitely have a few of these at Hammer Time at the Cellar! liinis (360), Finland Jul 22, 2008 dark gold, with small beige head. creamy(whipped) malty yeasty, caramel sweet, lots of hops giving a good bitterness. great (medium) body. sweet lemon honey and butter. delicious JohnQPublic (92), Brooklyn, New York, USA Jul 20, 2008 Draught. Pours dark gold, with a thin, creamy white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and citrus, not too bold. Taste is sweet biscuity malt up front, with a bit of caramel sweetness, with a nice citrusy, somewhat piney hop bitterness emerging about halfway in. Hoppiness is rounded, not overly bright - excellent balance. Mouthfeel is crisp carbonation, with a nice dry finish. Great sessionable version of the style. 502Flavors (185), Kentucky, USA Jul 20, 2008 on tap at a restaurant (Ramsis in Louisville). Poured a kind of strange tangerine orange/yellow color. Besides this, it was a nice refreshing brew true to its style. Its flavor was dominated by floral hops on the front with a light resinous finish. This brew is light bodied, soft, highly drinkable, and lacking of any alcohol flavor. unclemattie (1521), Georgia, USA Jul 10, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours deep amber color. Thin white head. aroma Is of big green floral hops. Strong caramel malt. The flavor is of bready, caramel malt. Heavy resin flavor on the back of the palate. Some hints of wood. Its like a hot biscuit with hop honey butter smeared all over it. Medium bodied. Full flavored. Alcohol is noticable, yet not overwelming. An above average IPA (english style).
