| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 21, 2008 On Tap at Oldsmar Tavern. Pours clear copper with lasting light tan head. Nose of fruity esters mostly coming from dates, cherries, raisins and prunes. I also get a din of caramel running in the background. The flavor is much like the aroma with neutral-ness to start. The flavor builds into distinct raisin, cherry, prune and date notes. There are also background notes of sweet malts and caramel floating around here and there. Flavors could be melded more. maniac (2774), Richmond, Virginia, USA
