COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Combining Canadian and American malts with a large proportion of un-malted white winter wheat, Fiat Lux starts with a Belgian witbier inspiration. A blend of Pacific Northwest hops, a little lime peel and a dash of Indian coriander brings a bright blast of citrusy aromatic sunshine, while German Perle hops supply a nice big zap of refreshing bitterness.

Tap at Gingerman, in decided tomgo for second flight of beers and get my Sunday afternoon Rollin. Pours golden with white fluffy head. Nose of bready and citrus. Tastes of yeast, banana, cloves, vanilla, coriander, and lemons. Crisp and refreshing

Pours a golden dark yellow. Nose is banana and cloves. Taste is also banana and cloves, and perhaps bubble gum, with nice spice. Finish is light and spicy with the same banana and cloves predominating. Quaff Score 8 / 10

On tap. Pours gold with a white head and aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is sweet, of hops, wheat, banana, coriander and caramel while well balanced with a smooth finish. Goes down easy and solid brew.

Associated Supermarkets, Bushwick growler ($12.99): Pours a golden color with a small white head (keep in mind this is being growlered). Aroma is very zesty: saison-style yeast, citrus, and loads of spice. Taste is very dry and rather hoppy for a Belgian wit. This beer is probably better called a saison, because it tastes more like beers in that style than it does like Hoegaarden or Blue Moon. Good stuff. I like this, and I, in no way, regret the 64 ounces of this jawn.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Lemony, light clove-like spices, medium sweetness, and a relatively dry finish. Good stuff.

Pours a very light gold. Cloves and orange peel aroma. More strong cloves and orange peel on the palate with a strangely mineral finish. Soft mouth feel with very little carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Blue Ribbon. Really nice hoppy farmhouse ale, kind of boozy but totally quaffable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tangerine, pineapple, and the obligatory coriander aroma. Much fruitier than spicy. Hazy amber, effervescent, thick yellow head. Coriandet and grapefruit peel. Orange flt midpalate with mild toast and grains in the finish. Weird wit, but damn delicious. Refteshing.
