[Draft @ Capones] Poured a hazy dark golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of coriander, earthy yeast, citrus fruits, light clove, toasted malt, and some toffee. Taste was citrus fruits, with toffee, yeast, coriander, light cardamom, tart wheat, and drying alcohol in the finish.

Draft. Pours a hazy golden body with a large white head and great retention. Yeast y with some light spices tones, fruity sweet cots and light floral hop tones. A bit sweet and fruity with a mild warming. Would be even better if this was dry hopped.

(Old BA rate - tap)
Hazy orange gold color, very thin white head which was a function of the pour given by the bartender (they filled it to the rim with the brew, and didn’t leave any room really). Orange and lemon were the predominant aromas, with a good yeastiness for the style. Not nearly as tart as the smell suggested. Definite orange and lemon flavors, with some sweetness. A touch creamy, and not as carbonated as expected. Very rich for the style, but it was very good. Hugely drinkable and refreshing especially given the ABV. Overall, this was like a hybrid between a Belgian Wit and a German Weisse to me, and very interesting.

Draft pour from an aged 2008 keg from redlight. Pours a very hazy golden yellow color with a large, foamy white head that settles to a thin film leaving spots of lace behind. THe aroma shows notes of tropical fruits, esters, light candied sugar, and some dry, musty wild yeast. The flavors follow with more tropical fruits, citrus, and candied sugar, but balanced out nicely by the wild, musty yeast. The yeast has really dried things out and added some funk almost like what brett does. Medium bodied with tingly carbonation that leads to a dry, fruity finish. This is a tasty strong ale with the presence of the yeast. Nice beer.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 TheNewGuy (20) - Florida, USA - FEB 19, 2010
Vintage keg (08) on tap at redlight redlight. Pours a golden straw color with a bubbly, champagne like head. Smells a bit funky with subtle sweetness. Reminds of a baby food fruit...peaches and bananas. Great consistent mouthfeel from start to finish with soft, but solid flavors of tropical fruit. Excellent brew.

Draft at Redlight Redlight. Pours a golden yellow with champagne-like carbonation. Aroma of wild yeast, similar to brett but slightly different and sweeter. Flavor reminds me a lot of Boulevard Saison Brett. Crisp and refreshing with a nice funk and a little extra sweetness. Very good.

[1882-20081205] Tap. Mild fruitiness in the aroma, not much there. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with no head. Lots of heavy malt and yeast flavour but has a fruity lightness overall. Medium-full body. Nice and fruity.
