Bottle. Pours weak yellow. Smells like leaves. Tastes like leaves and hay. Watery mouthfeel. Boring review for a boring beer.

Tap at the brewery, 17/12/11. Walked said section 2 of the elevated park the following morning. Beer Of The Trip So Far. Fully hazy orange with a collapsing tuft of foam. Ripe estery nose; clove and banana. Dense powdery spice; pepper, banana- far more so than in a typical wheat ale, so I’m guessing there’s some weizen yeast working its magic. Tasty and festive.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ben4321 (3031) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 22, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2011 Location: Draft at the Brewery, 10/22/11
Aroma: The nose has lots of lemon and wheat, yeast, banana, and spice too
Appearance: This one pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head
Flavor: Taste is similar to the nose, mildly sweet, with a nice spice presence
Palate: The body of this one is light- medium, and the mouthfeel is somewhat fizzy and clean
Overall Impression:
I thought this was some pretty good stuff. I guess it is fairly new (maybe only at the brewery thus far?), as I added it. I assume it will make it’s way around town as a draft release in the near future.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Slipstream (1786) - USA - AUG 11, 2011
An exclusive release for The Lot on Tap. Pleasantly sweet, malty aroma. Pretty dry wheat flavor with some citrusy astringency. Flavorful for the style and drinkable - a perfectly good weisse.

On tap at the lot on tap under the new part of the highline. Really rich wheat flavor... Almost banana/hefe like. Mouth feel is medium to full for a wheat. Pour is dark hay orange... No lasting head.

Draft at the Lot. Pours a bright cloudy florescent yellow. Taste is sweet and crisp. Perfect hot weather outside session beer. Like this one better then the original wheat from Brooklyn.

Tap at the Lot. Pale golden yellow pour. The aroma is very wheaty. Lemon and lime along with a touch of banana and clove. Very wheaty and light with a nice spiciness on the back - a pretty simple summer slammer. A little bit of tartness as well. Gets a bit phenolic as it warms up.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 auerbrau (2989) - Peace Dale, Rhode Island, USA - JUN 16, 2011
On tap at The Lot on Tap - New York, NY. Big german wheat yeast nose, lots of banana. Pours a brilliant cloudy golden, shining very brightly. Flavors are solid. There’s lots of wheat oil, a solid tanginess, and thick body. There’s good complexity for the ABV and lots of drinkability. Finishes with a nice crisp lime-like sensation.
